Mr. Kettunen has focused much of his career on a wider variety of non-marine legal issues, both maritime and non-maritime. This includes helping clients resolve disputes without litigation, and Mr. Kettunen has effectively negotiated and drafted many business-oriented agreements. He has represented defendants and plaintiffs alike in trial and appellate cases. In addition to his comprehensive marine background, Mr. Kettunen has litigated extensively in non-marine settings, often involving complex facts or issues. He has represented clients from obtaining restraining orders to handling insurance and fraud controversies. That is, to a large extent, Mr. Kettunen’s practice covers the waterfront and beyond.
