Customer Review Summary 1. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS GALLERY - They are SCAM ARTISTS! 2. They are all scam artists here. I told them I wanted to buy a particular artwork from them. They made me jump through hoops just to get a response from them. After a month of waiting and back and forth, they said they would send the print I wanted in addition to a check for my trouble. They sent me the check but I checked Artsy, and the item is still on sale. They have not taken it down. They lied to me, and the print never arrived. They then gave me different stories about how it is going to be shipped, and I have been asking for a refund ever since. They are no longer responding to my messages. I have contacted Paypal and my bank to get my money back. They are a huge scam. 3. I acquired some authentic original art from here after having seen it online. The owner was very accommodating and divided the invoice so I could pay through two different apps. It was sent immediately and finally arrived. It looks amazing, and the packing was excellent for such a large and fragile piece in an aluminum frame with glass. It is also worth mentioning that all the packing materials are recyclable. When I asked for clarification, they claim they will reimburse me if I return the artwork I purchased. I am yet to return it, as I lodge a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. In my opinion, what they are doing could amount to wire fraud. Also, the seller is not providing a Certificate of Authenticity that confirms that the artwork I purchased is indeed an "Original." They only state that it is "Authentic." This, therefore, means it is not "Original." 6. Funds transferred , David has no confirmation of delivery and he does not even respond to email and text message at all. After chasing and chasing , I realized this could be a scam. Absolutely no credibility 8. David sold me a massive beautiful piece of art. It was shipped and expertly packaged (crated). The art itself is extraordinary. His communication was exemplary and I couldn’t be more pleased with all aspects of this transaction. I already have this wonderful authentic piece hanging on my living room wall (and it’s amazing). Thank you Mr. Hamilton 10. I unfortunately have been burned now twice by this this so-called art dealer. Both times he accepted my offer for art and never shipped the paintings. He is a fraud and ebay will not help you. 11. I can honestly say from a previous purchase; the professionalism and high degree of attention from David Hamilton has led me to come back to David for another purchase. I am confident to say that I will receive the same level of customer service I have come to expect from Original Art Broker. Thank You 12. Service impeccable and staff professional 13. David Hamilton the owner of this gallery is a modern-day conman. He stops responding and won't send the product purchased. What a nightmare. On top it all he lies. No credability at all. 14. I got 2 original Steve Kaufman oil canvas pieces from Original Art Broker on eBay. One of them was shipped in a simple cardboard box and came in with a big tear. I returned it and it took about 3 weeks to get a refund. The next one, which is a rare piece, paints what I'd call a funny picture. The art came with a tear that had been fixed before sending it to me. This was not communicated during the online purchase nor did the seller want to take liability. The frame was also broken. The seller agreed to have someone local pick it up and repair, but my inquiries and emails after more than a month have never been replied. I am kinda losing it here and the long-waited reply for the item repair status. I just want the seller to do right by me by refunding the amount paid for the artwork.
