James was a Rosemount Aerospace Manufacturing Engineer, Beckman Coulter Supplier Quality Engineer, and Boston Scientific Quality Engineer. James has recently chosen to continue his love for solar energy, which is why he originally studied Electrical Engineering. In 2008, James completed his first solar system training at Solar Energy International in Colorado. He also founded Solar Farm, LLC that same year. James is a founding member of the Minnesota Renewable Energy Society and charter member of Minnesota Solar Energy Industry Association. Through the Minneapolis Community Education Program, he has taught the "Intro to Solar Power" class. James also continues to learn through numerous seminars, workshops, and solar events. He looks forward every year to the Energy Fair at Custer, WI. James likes to stay active, canoeing in the summer and cross-country skiing during winter. James is also a Judo blackbelt and enjoys Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. James also supports organic farming.
