About Cherry Pit Collective Cherry Pit Collective, a collective studio for women artists, designers, and makers, is a space where labor and vision are honored. We share a workspace to promote and support each other. We work collaboratively and divide expenses, risks, and rewards. Our monthly programming includes classes and activities to promote collaboration and skill sharing within our community. Women artists and other marginalizing groups have the highest priority, but we welcome visitors to our studios and events. Cultural Acknowledgement We acknowledge the ancestral lands beneath our building, which indigenous Kiikaapo (Kikapoo), Wazhazhe Mazha(Osage), Kaw(Kansa), and Ochethi-Sakowin (Sioux) people and pay tribute to the land and those who care for it. Respecting Other Artists' Work Cherry Pit offers an open space for local artists to display their artwork, share resources and knowledge. We ask you to adhere to the following basic guidelines to help you communicate with other people. Cherry Pit Collective is committed to a friendly, inclusive, and open environment that promotes tolerance and dignity for other people's perspectives and identities.
