Founded in 1953, the Greater Kansas City Dog Training Club Inc. (GKCDTC) provides classes and activities for various dog breeds and their owners. The club was founded to develop all breeds of dogs, to show interest in them, and to improve their popularity and welfare; also to improve the understanding between dog and owner. The club also holds sanctioned agility, tracking, and obedience tests under the rules of the American Kennel Club. Our member volunteers teach a variety of classes to the general public. Our volunteers have obedience titles that are equivalent to their level. All of our members are interested in some aspect of dog sports. Our purpose is to share our passion with interested individuals. At GKCDTC, you can find others who share your interest in tracking, competitive obedience, and agility, or even in some of the less common dog sports such as lure coursing, Earth-dog Trials, Carting or Water-dog Competitions, or simply having a well-behaved pet. We also offer demonstrations and programs at schools and appearances at events. Speaker's Bureau provides education on a variety of topics, from dog safety and child safety to animal/human interaction.

Several reviews show that the Greater Knoxville Canine Dog Training Club is a welcoming, satisfying place to learn basic to advanced dog training. They mainly have beginner and advanced beginner lessons, which have positive comments. Each review noted that the place was good for all dog owners and that it was not stressful for either you or your puppy. The club has a friendly atmosphere and students receive individual attention, especially from trainers who are skilled, caring and have spent decades doing it. This small class format allows most students to go at their own pace. Furthermore, they have a wealth of resources, exercises, and shared a lot of laughs. Cheryl was cited as an instructor who cared passionately about their job and came to every lesson completely prepared, constantly connecting with me. Their testimonials mainly come from the fact that their puppies showed similar improvements in the lessons, especially hyper or problematic dogs. In general, they dealt with it well, and I enjoyed it throughout each lesson and practiced at home throughout the week. These reviews recommend that you register with Cheryl and the club for amazing classes, it is fun, and she helped with a difficult puppy for them. No student would not have to attend a pitiless public class again. And they thanked Cheryl once more for saving them and transforming their puppies. And there was a lot of hard work, and they offer discounted classes. Everyone said it was fun, rewarding, and that they no longer had to worry about their dog's behavior in public places.
