Law Office of Michael Moore, PLLC

Had a very disappointing experience with this law firm over the past month. I reached out to the firm and spoke with the attorney's wife (receptionist) and explained my situation in detail and told them what I was hoping to accomplish. I was told that there would be a $300 consultation fee but that fee would go to the retainer if I chose to utilize Michael Moore's services. I spoke over the phone for approximately one hour and fifteen minutes with Mr. Moore on September 13, 2023 and our discussion ended with him telling me that he would be back in touch with me on September 19, 2023 with options after he reviewed the documents I sent in more detail. Tomorrow, October 17, 2023 will be exactly four weeks after I was told to expect feedback. I have called twice and sent one email without a response (not even a response email that would take less than fifteen seconds to send). My best advice is to not pay a consultation fee to this law firm to discuss your (potential) case. I am out $300, have shared personal documents, and essentially have wasted my time. I'm not sure if I should reach out to the Mississippi Bar Association as this is not the way to conduct business.
