Feedback from customers We used this office to close on some land last December. When we still hadn't received our deed by February I called the office and was told it was put in the mail in Dec. Not certified, just regular mail. We never received it. I asked for a replacement and got a copy that was downloaded from the Register of Deeds website. I called and asked for a certified copy and said I would pick it up rather than them mail it. That was in March. Still nothing by July. I called again and left a message. Still nothing. Needles to say we won't be using this office again when we close on our house. If I could give zero stars, I would. Needed Deed for house closing.I paid $26.00 for overnight shipping for important documents, ie a Power of Attorney, and a settlement check. I didn't receive the documents until 4 days later, so when I ask for a refund of services not rendered I was refused. The secretary created the label with UPS on 2/7 @ 2:59pm however didn't produce the package until after last pick up with UPS at 6:07pm, total incompetence. I was also charged $500.00 for documents produce that I didn't approve. When I questioned the refund promised they had changed their minds and inappropriately HUNG UP ON ME. Not very professional IMO -customer Content was okay. She is a very down-to-earth person and easy to talk to and discuss matters that you are uneasy about. Her paralegal is a great person to work with also.
