Grier Interiors

Grier Interiors was established in 1997 when Eddie Grier launched his office furniture showroom. The same year, his brother Ben Grier was diagnosed with cancer, which he would succumb to. Eddie inherited the company's leadership and management duties after the demise of his older brother. In a comment that referred to his late sibling as the family patriarch, Eddie stated that he had promised Ben that he would take care of his three sons. Eddie frequently watched Chad's football games at Davidson Day School, where Chad worked as a coach, as well as the birthdays of his children. This act was similar to how Ben behaved, with the added twist that Eddie could be spotted, wearing a number seven at each event. Chad, Eddie's partner in the business, stated that in his hopes and wishes for the future, he wanted to see his children and nephews at Grier Interiors. This family-owned business has many family members, including six of Eddie's nephews, which totals seven Grier family members working in the company. Eddie and his relatives often wear number seven to signify their unity and organization. The number is particularly linked to Will, who was a quarterback for the US Army All American Game, which played as the East Carolina Pirates when Chad wore the shirt (Cimini, 2018). With this in mind, the family's nickname is G7, which refers to the seven family members working in the family-owned business. This is a badge of honor that symbolizes the family's strength, support, and unity.
