Meet Jamie & Quinn The Puppy Preparatory company was established by Jamie. After years of working in animal welfare, Jamie recognized a need. Jamie founded Puppy Preparatory when she saw how many dogs were abandoned each year. In Carolinas, Jamie was raised and has looked after young dogs since she was nine. She later lived in Los Angeles and New York City and took in puppies and dogs. Jamie has experience working with puppies, senior dogs, and dogs of all ages and sizes, from Chihuahuas to Mastiffs. Although all dogs excite her, she is particularly interested in working with puppies. Jamie adopted Quinn, an affectionate and playful Great Dane, in 2018. She and Quinn have a good time together. Quinn is not only a large and playful buddy but also a wonderful puppy teacher's assistant. Quinn also has a lot of experience in socialization during puppy playtime. He carefully supervises interactions between your puppy and Quinn to ensure that socialization is in the best interest of the young dogs. Most significantly, Quinn acts as a mentor who helps puppies "read" signals from larger dogs. Jamie and Quinn may run Puppy Preparatory because they are both fantastic at it. But Amira, a foster failure in 2015 that she adopted and has been a headstrong and loving feline/puppy boss, is the one that calls the shots. Amira has also raised some puppies since her adoption, with her impeccable patience and instruction helping the pups get used to having a feline counterpart.
