Wingate University Charlotte currently serves over 3,600 students from North Carolina and beyond. The University was established in 1896 and offers 35 undergraduate majors and professional graduate programs. Wingate is home of the Cannon College of Arts and Sciences and the Levine College of Health Sciences. The Byrum School of Business and Thayer School of Education can also be found at the University.
