Dr. Brooke Jackson M.D. is committed to healthy skin. In 2003, Dr. Brooke Jackson, M.D., became board-certified as a dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon. Since then, she has been helping her patients learn how to take better care of their skin. She has two decades of experience treating children and adults with skin conditions and focusing on holistic skin health. She received her undergraduate degree from Wellesley College, her medical degree from Georgetown University, and completed her dermatology residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. After completing an internship at the University of Chicago, she completed her dermatology residency there. After training, she decided to go to Houston and do a Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Procedural Dermatology fellowship. She founded the Mohs Surgery Unit at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Before launching Skin Wellness Dermatology Associates in Durham, NC, in 2016, she held faculty positions at Harvard, Northwestern University, MD Anderson Cancer Center, and UNC. The dermatologist's patient reviews suggest a high level of satisfaction. The common themes are the doctor's thoroughness, her attention to detail, and her excellent communication skills. Many compliment Dr. Jackson for taking the time to offer explanations and treatment options, as well as for expressing a caring attitude towards the patient and their concerns. The front desk staff, including nurses, are said to operate efficiently and with kindness. Several patients had flown to North Carolina to maintain contact with the doctor, which indicates their level of trust and appreciation. Summing up, I recommend this dermatologist and give the clinic a 5-star rating for my visit and the quality of the care I received.
