Success doesn’t last forever, but you should get to keep the memories. 3. 1-star review from a DWI client: John Carter, Trey Carter (whoever they are) need to be fired from any and all Public Defender positions. Absolutely NO communication skills. There was no communication unless I initiated it. When I did, I had to call John’s office as he said he would call and never did. He’s also not very helpful when filing forms with the court. He’d tell me “I honestly don’t know how it’s done” then proceed to tell me exactly how to do it. After my conviction, he requested the court to charge me absurd amounts of money for his ridiculous services which all he really did was speak with me on the phone for a few hours, read some stuff over a 2 month period that I already knew about and appear on my behalf in court for an hour. He was paid 6k to represent me in one single court appearance which lasted barely an hour in total from meeting with me outside to speaking to the judge on my behalf. It was a complete rip-off and he didn’t give a damn about me or anyone I know. I’ve been injured by the entire experience and it felt like a scam from the start. This ends in them not communicating with you and you losing! Makes you wonder if they are even working your case! He was such a blessing to me. When a legal issue arose involving my elderly mother, he listened with intense sympathy and understanding. Outlining several strategies to rectify this deplorable situation, we ultimately achieved the results I had hoped and prayed for! His paralegal Tracy is fabulous. She’s a great asset to Mr. Caprara. She knows her job well and is very friendly and sweet. I would recommend the law office of Camden Caprara to anyone needing help with family law.
