Feedback Recap: Raleigh Windows and Siding Changed Siding, Trim, and Backdoor Great quality: 1. Raleigh Windows and Siding changed all my exterior siding, trim, and backdoor (old things were rooting and falling apart). I inspected the work every night and the quality was great – much better than the original home builders. They fixed any problems they came accross without extra fees. Communication was great during quoting, good while waiting, and great while someone worked. Total job took less than 10 days to complete and team was very professional. Just be prepared to wait a while. They have a big list of jobs it takes a few months between signing and start for the work. My windows and siding look great. 5 stars. Our Experience 2. As others have said, Raleigh Windows and Siding is a top-notch company. In 2017, we had all of our original windows and home siding replaced( Hardie Plank). We chose RWS based on the many positive reviews we read, the quality of the product offered, their installation expertise (important for Hardie Plank install), and their competitive pricing. We were very happy with the whole process from start to finish! They really did a fantastic job. 8 years later, we had developed a slight problem with our windows where they made noise when you opened or closed them. They came out and investigated. Bruce confirmed the noise and then investigated it with the company who actually made the original windows. They found the problem was one that they had never seen before. In the end, Bruce was able to get replacement parts for our windows at no charge to us because of our window warranty. A warranty is only as good as the company that stands behind it and Bruce went the extra mile in finding a solution to our needs. In summary, we not only had a terrific experience with the installation of our windows and siding, but we also had a great experience with having a problem resolved with our windows 8 years later. Bottom line...if you are searching for a company to replace your windows or siding (or both), we highly recommend Raleigh Windows and Siding for your needs. They are a company you can trust based on our own experience. Superior Replacement and Renovation Service 3. I cannot speak highly enough about the siding and widow replacement work that Raleigh Windows and Siding completed on our home near downtown Durham! Quotes from other companies were outside of our budget because they quoted Hardie Plank, which requires sheathing. Since we did not know if we had sheathing under our existing siding - and did not have the budget to add it - we were grateful Raleigh Windows and Siding was able to offer an option that made the project possible for us. From start to finish, Andrew Forster of RWS did an excellent job understanding our priorities: staying within budget and preserving as much of the home’s original character as possible, especially the trim details. During our first meeting, he recommended an alternative siding option—LP SmartSide—that fit our budget and did not require sheathing. He also offered thoughtful ideas to help us maintain the home’s charm, which was not something any of the other companies offered. It was a much appreciated level of interest and engagement in our project. Throughout the entire process, Andrew was consistently knowledgeable and responsive (which says a lot since I am a big question asker :) ). His crew was equally fantastic—efficient, respectful, and careful to keep our property clean every day. As a bonus, they agreed to paint the interior of our house and replace our crown molding, and the results were fantastic. It feels like having a new home, inside and out. A huge thank-you to Andrew and his team! I will happily recommend Raleigh Windows and Siding whenever I get the chance :) The before photo (light colored paint) was taken in early to mid-2025, and the after photo at the end of August 2025. I have lost track on the number of compliments we have received on the house since the project was completed :)
