This attorney has been playing mind games with our family for the last four tears. When we first met Mr. Byers, he made us feel hopeful. He was very informative and explained the process from start to finish and didn’t make it seem like an impossible task. We were even told we would be getting discounts where possible and we believe this because it is in the contract we signed. We agreed to $15000 to start and any additional fees would be incurred if necessary. We would be kept in the loop on our case which never happened. After the year of 2020, Mr. Byers had us sign a contract saying our money was a gift. The communication was cut down and no one would pick up the phone for us to even set up a meeting with Mr. Byers, himself. My husband informed him he had been sexually harassed by his employer and I believe this is the reason he lost his job due to the frustration from the harassment. On top of all this, Mr. Byers did not even take the time to read my husband's file or even come to court for the first hearing nor any hearing after. He also lied to the judge to get my husband's M.R.M. Ms. Byers hired someone to take the job for him. So, many other things were said to the judge to help the employer.
