He helped me in every step of the process, and was able to get my charge dropped down to a much lesser offense after working with the DA. (The law officer claimed she was acting jumpy, but her breath and urine tests showed she was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs.) The officer pulled her over because she had a small dreamcatcher on her rearview mirror. The officer told my friend that “you shouldn’t have that hanging from your rearview.” State law does not prohibit dreamcatchers. It DOES prohibit objects that obstruct your view, and this one was very small and almost transparent. It was no more of an obstruction than the rearview mirror itself. Chad filed a motion challenging the officer’s reason for pulling my friend over, and a judge ruled in her favor. The case was dismissed.
