Efficient and competent counsel, transitioned mid-representation, and the firm did a great job re: conflict resolution Rated 4 stars 1 month ago I had a big time-sensitive case and hired Tatiana Hackman. I got a serviceable free consultation and was like “This is great—I feel confident I can win this case” She was not good at returning voicemails and emails. She requested an extension with the opposing parties attorney because I did not respond in a timely manner (even though Hackman was made aware of this time crunch during my consultation and informed me it would not be a problem). Because of this I had to wait longer for a response. 2 weeks go by with no response and I get a letter in the mail stating that she had quit the Law Firm and is transferring my case to Leah Carlson. Carlson was great at responding to emails and phone calls. She answered every question I had and was great to work with. HOWEVER, when I submitted my declaration she took out a lot of important information, advised it, and then sent it to Opposition Party without verifying it with me first. Then I got a phone call from her saying she was resigning from the firm. So now I don’t have an attorney, and I have a large bill.
