Customer Review Highlights Very affordable with costs and fair practice. CLO office staff was friendly, fair, didn't judge me, reminded me of court dates, and went above & beyond to accommodate me. Would recommend this law firm to everyone; he is retiring but worth contacting his office to ask if they are willing to take on your case. One word of advice, if you are going to court, you need to do everything he tells you to. One judge (bench officer) said he knew Mr. Chapin had experience because I was well-prepared and knew what I was doing. I feel like I saved a fortune because I only went to trial once instead of a dozen times like the other side tried to do. Since I was the 2nd attorney to have my case, the judge said there was a lot of wasted money and time going to court on basically every issue in my case. The other side had a new attorney on my case 4 months after Mr. Chapin did the settlement. I know the other side thought they were going to bully me because I was doing part of the legal work but Mr. Chapin's advice on what to do in preparing and filing my papers really worked and I think it was good strategy now in hindsight. Waving arguments and/or legal strategies in court (i.e. without discussing in papers) is very effective and saves money. Only had one 45 min consultation and he was wonderful! Gave me a great deal of valuable information. I'm very very greatful, highly recommend!
