Soltage, LLC, a premier independent power producer in the United States, is excited to announce the completion of a 28-megawatt solar project in Ohio on land owned by the Cincinnati Zoo, a project it acquired from Melink Solar Development, a pre-construction services provider for large-scale PV projects. Melink and Soltage designed the project, and Calpine Energy Solutions and the Cincinnati Zoo separately executed power purchase agreements (PPAs) for the solar project's two phases, which will deliver all electricity produced. These PPAs will directly meet the electricity needs of the zoo and its customers.
