Feedback Compilation: The Dick's Sporting Goods store at Paramus gave an exceedingly frustrating experience I visited to refund a jersey bought at DICK's using a company-issued PEX Visa card. The item was unused and met all refund conditions. However, I was told that their point-of-sale system would only offer a gift card for Dick's and not return the money to the credit card because the system treats my card like a prepaid or gift card. This is not acceptable. I did not buy the jersey with a gift card, and this system limitation should not force me to accept store credit. Thus, I cannot accurately document a valid business expense. The staff was kind, but I received an unsuitable resolution. This is a company-wide operational issue that needs to be resolved (Anonymous, 2022). The Paramus store staff at the store actually did not have the product I was looking for but kindly recommended another store that had it (Anonymous, 2022). I obtained everything I needed to restock at this place (Anonymous, 2022). The cashiers at the Paramus store were very friendly and had all the items I was looking for (Anonymous, 2022). Positive Customer Experience at Paramus, NJ I had a great experience visiting and shopping at Dick’s Sporting Goods in Paramus, New Jersey, today. I was there to pick up an online order and return another order bought online. The in-store operations were smooth. The pickup was well organized, with clear directions and signs showing where to reach, and I received my package within just under two minutes after getting to the designated counter. At the return counter, an associate who appeared young and was initially doubtful because he was new gave me the most outstanding service I have received from this store (Anonymous, 2022). The associate who served me had no name tag on, and I forgot to ask him his name. I had to attach a screenshot from my phone to help with his identification.
