I came in for a simple chipped tooth. I just needed a filling. Instead, the dentist who owns the practice and the office manager treated me like a walking wallet. They used high pressure, used car salesman tactics to try to scare me into a root canal. They literally told me there was "no other option" and acted like my tooth was going to fall out if I didn't agree right then.
I felt sick with anxiety leaving that appointment. But something felt wrong, so I got a second opinion. Guess what? Another office did a simple filling. My tooth is absolutely fine. No root canal needed. Nothing.
But it gets worse. While pushing the root canal, they tried to sell me on some "upgrade" to sterilize the tooth. I called my insurance to ask about it, and the insurance rep told me that sterilizing the tooth is already a required part of any root canal. They said charging extra for that is not even allowed under my plan. That is not an upgrade. That is a scam.
On top of all that, they tried to convince me to get Invisalign during the same visit. I came in for a chipped tooth, and they were already pitching me a multi thousand dollar treatment.
Please, please learn from my mistake. Do not let them pressure you. If they tell you that you need major work, walk out and get a second opinion immediately. This place does not care about your health. They care about your credit card, also its one of the dirtiest and terrible smelling healthcare offices I ever been to, that alone should have been a red flag.2. Such great staff, very professional and friendly. The dentists really make the process very smooth and easy going. For someone who hates the dentist, I actually love it here! Good...
