About this business

Customer Reviews 1. A 5 star would've happened because regarding the mother and children” they were excellent, until my kids were constantly being physically abused by Doe staff. The mother tirelessly sought the services of the Bronx defenders. She kept on seeking the services of a trusted lawyer who could handle the case of her children. It later started making the mother crazy, irate, having episodes of insomnia. She suffered for over 2 years and started having panic attacks. However, when the Mother was in these conditions, For instance, after a bus Matron dug her nails in my daughters neck I called for help. The Mother was screaming and crying as she asked the Bronx Defenders,” am I supposed to do"? This was after the 4th time a DOE employee had abused her either physically or mentally or emotionally. The Mother was directed to come down, but she couldn't since I was in pain as the services were terminated. It was so.my kids were still being physically abused the court process. The mother kept seeking services yet the kids were not being helped. The children were constantly being abused. The defenders used their services yet the kids were still facing problems. The mother had hopes that her kids would be helped while she was in church. She suffered in silence as she wrote this review. The mother prayed that there was anyone who could have handled her case well. 2. A five-star would've been given if they were a Support for parents. When you pay Jamely Leon from the Bronx Defenders a request or raise a concern, she doesn’t want to work with you. On a few occasions that I could speak to her, she advised me to agree to every request that the court and the ACS/CPS would have had. She didn’t find any need to submit my evidence to the case. She suggested that had the evidence been availed, it would affect negatively the way the case was going to be reviewed. After the court case, she completely refused to talk to me again. I texted her, called and left several messages to her both from my phone and the office line but she didn’t reply. She couldn’t even listen to the message. I once visited the office location where she had told me she could call me when she was available but she didn’t. The receptionist called her on the phone and she promised her she could call me back later which she didn’t. I was ready to wait some more days but when I called her, she said she was on vacation. She never came back until the end of this month. I had to handle the case alone as she never turned up. It was so painful.
