I have been a hostage of this firm for 5 years since they intentionally concealed a carrier consent letter. They avoid my calls, call me back when they feel like it, blame me, the judge and the carrier for their mistakes, and just tried to force a settlement while I was seeking surgery, have refused to submit medical bills to the courts regarding the lien they got me trapped under, and tried to get me to enter a settlement where they and the carrier pretend that $50,000 of credits never existed. They are violating the ADA against me regarding disabilities that they proved in court. Strongly recommend staying far away from this firm. I am currently trapped as their client, no other law firm will take the case, and they are violating NY felony statute 260.25 against me as my client held hostage. Their misconduct led to me being homeless for the last 3 years, and without proper medical treatment for almost 5 years now. I woke up from my second spinal surgery cut off from workers comp benefits because they agreed to a medical lien that they told me wasn't even a possibility. They lie, gaslight, and Stonewall. They refuse to accept any responsibility for anything, and they have been refusing for 5 years to provide the license number and name of the attorney that concealed the carrier consent letter. Currently they are stonewalling returning my calls after trying to force a settlement that doesn't reflect $50,000 of payments made, because they spent years refusing to submit it unless i filled out a jumble of extra paperwork I am not capable of per the ADA, that they are supposed to be filling out as it is their job. My case is utterly trashed. Stay away from these people !!!! Update: they blamed the PI lawyer again, violated the ADA again. And have filed a misleading application to the courts asking to be removed from my case because they refuse to take responsibility or fix the mistakes and misconduct they have committed. It seems I will be pressing charges on Chris Bhola and Chris Romano for 260.25. The Inspector generals office is now involved in dealing with their misconduct.4. Disappointing5. Smart, fast, and precise. !6. My experiece has not been a trusted on since I first made contact. Ihave experiened no titigication ig cancelled PT appointment, I have been scheduled for evaluation without me knowing. I just do not understand much about my case as I havenot been ablr to get anyclear answers.7. The Joseph Romano law firm is quite literally the best law firm in this area of law.
