UB Center for the Arts

The UBCFA is where the arts departments of the University at Buffalo come together. We are where UB artists interact with audiences, present plays, dance, fine art, and work. All of our studios, classrooms, and workshops are where the creative process happens. The UBCFA is where techniques are taught, ideas are explored, and rehearsals are held. Here, departments and disciplines from various artistic fields collaborate, create, and find inspiration. The Department of Art This department promotes the evolution of creative and scholarly capacities in studio and post-studio arts, graphic design and aesthetics, and critical theory and art history. The department's vision is to promote innovative practices and approaches. Our students become equipped to express their specific visions in a current cultural environment. Department of Media Study Department of Media Study in Buffalo is a prestigious program for experimental and independent media in America. DMS has an award-winning, internationally-active faculty that scrutinizes media and its societal implications in the broadest context. Students are involved in an array of evolving topics such as screen culture, software studies, and documentary and experimental films. It also includes video, sound, and social media production, gaming, and robotics, as well as audio and video, digital poetry, and spatial practices. Department of Music The Department of Music offers an intellectually stimulating, interdisciplinary habitat for performers, scholars, and composers. The department presents internationally-acclaimed performers and a diverse, vibrant faculty with international acclaim in scholarly research and music performance.

The concert hall is a fountains notable facility. Its all-seat theater layout ensures everyone has a fantastic view of the stage. The acoustics are first-rate. In the past, it has hosted Wynton Marsalis, Bruce Hornsby Piano Concerts, and Bela Fleck, among other top acts. The concert hall is a fantastic place to watch a show. The seating is comfortable, and the ambiance is immaculate. The architectural design is superbll, and the building is clean all around. Kamala Harris even visited once. The school has excellent acoustics and clear sightlines, making it one of the best places to see a concert. It is great for concerts and other events. Complimentary snacks are available in the lobby. This facility is always clean and user-friendly, with helpful staff. The steps are steep but enjoyable. The concert hall is very pretty and I would certainly recommend it to anyone.
