Customer Reviews Feedback 1. "You guys don't need to hire more employees. Your employees actively avoid you. I needed help, and I found three employees. However, when the three of them noticed I was coming at them for a reason, they would break eye contact" and walk away, making turns, They literally tried to hide from me. I had just come from the very back of the store after walking around for about 15 mins looking for help. And, after the third employee actively avoided me, I had to go to the front desk, where an older guy...tried? to help me. I then had a call with the manager; he refused to walk to the front of the store, so the guy at the front told me he didn't feel like walking up here. I walked out and went to the Lowes 2 mins down the road. They OFFERED HELP as I walked in. Shockingly, I was shocked, and I thought it was on me for coming at a bad time until the store manager literally told me he didn't feel like leaving the office. I understand they have anti-theft devices on them to keep them from being stolen. But they are a pain to handle, even when empty. The carts at other stores with devices are not as challenging as the Home Depot carts. Additionally, the checkout process is a complete disaster. They always have two people working with the self-checkout and no cashiers. While I was checking out, I purchased an interior door that had no label or barcode. The Home Depot Associate who was assisting me did not make any effort to get the door's information. He told me I needed to go back and take a picture of the product description and price from the label on the bin where I got the door. This was stressful, so I ended up buying the door from Lowes.10. Everything Very Nice and Clean11. I would like to compliment Christina from the Smithtown store for how sincerely kind she was in helping me get the Halloween bucket item I wanted. She called me twice just to keep me updated on the arrival of the hot item everyone is wanting. Without her kindness, my Grandsons wouldn't have been able to get these buckets they wanted so much. It is not common for someone to go out of the way. Thanks Christina Thanks Also John and Henry Donna12. Store manager John and his team went above and beyond to make sure I left with what I needed. Although they couldn't find it," there were three of them searching, rather than just saying they didn't have it. Thanks13.
