ABOUT   Services Excellence Summary

Summary of customer feedback: The receptionist is not really professional. They lost the deed to my house that they never supported me with. The receptionist gave me the run-around and up to this day, I have never received that deed from them. They are negligent with documents and cannot be trusted at all. They made another from a different lawyer. Wouldn't recommend. The second feedback: The receptionist is not really professional. They lost the deed to my house that they never supported me with. The receptionist gave me the run-around and up to this day, I have never received that deed from them. They are negligent with documents and cannot be trusted at all. They made another from a different lawyer. Wouldn't recommend. The third feedback: Lawyer named Stephen Hoffman from this practice is representing my landlord in a holdover eviction case. My landlord provided him with the wrong information so when he realized he was not getting an eviction that day because I was correct about how ERAP works and he was not he made a scene, acting like a small child and starting a yelling match with me. He was angry that I didn't call him when I got served and tell him about all the repairs the landlord hasn't made. He then proceeded to make a very inappropriate jab at me in reference to a brain injury I had mentioned to the court. Never seen anything like it. Unbelievable. I am not sure but I don't think lawyers are supposed to be mocking or making discriminatory comments to disabled people before the court. The fifth feedback: Very kind and professional group of people. Highly recommend! Sixth feedback: Very kind and professional group of people. Highly recommend! Seventh feedback: I called a few weeks ago to schedule a consultation and the person who took the call couldn't answer if they were taking consultations or how much the charge would be. On top of that, I never heard back from them. The lack of professionalism will lead me to never deal with this firm and not recommend to anyone I know. Eighth feedback: I called a few weeks ago to schedule a consultation and the person who took the call couldn't answer if they were taking consultations or how much the charge would be. On top of that, I never heard back from them. The lack of professionalism will lead me to never deal with this firm and not recommend to anyone I know. The ninth feedback: Steven provides such a great service and is just meticulous with his work, but he may be busy with a new project, that's my guess. Tenth feedback: Steven provides such a great service and is just meticulous with his work, but he may be busy with a new project, that's my guess. Eleventh feedback: We worked with Attorney Hoffman Stephen and his staff on the recent sale of our home. The office is very fast with their own actionable items, but they do not ask for updates or more narrow timelines from vendors. Their policy is that vendors will get information back to them as soon as possible. The office does not like to be bothered with questions about timelines. I feel that a timeline of 2-4 weeks to receive information back from a vendor could be significantly narrowed by asking the right questions. In my case, it was the expected timeline on getting updated survey and abstract information. While Hoffman's offices refused to check in on vendors for the timeline, and called me a bother in the process, I took 15 minutes to call the vendors and gained clarity on the timeline. Narrowing the 2-4 week window down to the day they got the paperwork to the office. Once all the paperwork was received, the office worked very quickly to get us closed and sorted out some survey issues for us outside of their business hours. It's just unfortunate they are lacking so much in this one piece I find very important. If you are a person who asks questions and likes to have a clear understanding of what to expect, this office may not be right for you. Maybe that type of lawyers office doesn't exist locally- but we'll keep looking! Twelfth feedback: We worked with Attorney Hoffman Stephen and his staff on the recent sale of our home. Fifteenth feedback: Such a great group of people. Love them so much, very helpful in purchasing home as well as handling wills and estates...I couldn't be happier with the results they got for us.
