About this business

Yoga Farm Ithaca Customer Feedback 1. My first review--I tried this place out today. The instructor was awesome. I was a little turned off by how dirty the place was though. The blankets used in class had hair on them that was not mine. After using them to cover a bolster in class that my face was up against, it has me wondering how often these are laundered. The floors were visibly dirty with dust and dead bugs in the greenhouse. The bathroom was laid out weird and didnt have a sink to wash your hands...the sink was located at the entrance. The location seemed okay until the class got going and the trucks honking on the main highway next door ruined the zen. Overall, the class was good but I unfortunately dont know if I'll be back due to the location and lack of cleanliness. 2. What an amazing experience with amazing people! I went to the women's Christmas event and Rebirthing Ceremony and it's unlike anything I have ever experienced. I will 100% be returning!!!! Thank you so much!!
**Side note I left a jacket and my winter coat there and I've tried to call, email etc. but no response. Is there anyway you can suggest I reach someone who can help me with this! Thank you so much!* 3. I have been part of Yoga Farm Ithaca since 2019. Both as a teacher and a student I absolutely love it. The trauma informed approach and the genuine care from the YFI staff and teachers is amazing. Highly recommend YFI 4. YFI is a gift to the Ithaca community! The studio space is not only beautiful but welcoming, accessible, and inclusive. The boutique is lovely and has lots of great local products. Classes are spacious and full of care. So excited to see this new space for our community downtown! 5. Yoga Farm Ithaca is one of those rare places that feels deeply nourishing the moment you arrive and somehow continues to work on you long after you leave.
In person, the land itself feels held and intentional. There is a sense of care woven into everything from the physical space to the pacing of the days to the people who gather there. The classes and offerings are thoughtful, embodied, and accessible without ever feeling watered down. Whether you are brand new to a practice or deeply experienced, you feel welcomed exactly as you are.
What truly sets Yoga Farm Ithaca apart is that the same depth and integrity translates beautifully into their virtual offerings. Online experiences feel surprisingly intimate and grounded. There is real presence, not just content. You can feel the heart behind the teachings and the genuine desire to create connection even through a screen.
Yoga Farm Ithaca is not about performance or perfection. It is about presence, healing, community, and coming back into relationship with yourself and the earth. Every experience I have had with them has felt authentic, skillfully held, and deeply supportive.
I am endlessly grateful for this space and the people who steward it. Whether you are visiting in person or joining from afar, Yoga Farm Ithaca is truly something special.
Highly recommend. 6. Yoga Farm is absolutely incredible. I'm pursuing yoga to find movement that feels good in my body, connects my body and mind, and helps me process my emotions through somatic movement. The pace, flow, and... 7. This isn’t yoga—it’s a set of meditation practices! It would be helpful if you explained your classes in detail before charging a fee. I’ve tried different classes with various teachers, but there weren’t any real yoga movements—just poses like cat-cow or downward dog. My heart rate didn’t even increase during the sessions! 8. **Important Message – Please Read**

During the Kundalini Warrior Teacher course, I experienced a powerful awakening with the Kundalini shooting up my spine followed by a couple of months of bliss and happiness. However, this soon has turned into severe depression, which has worsened into suicidal thoughts for the last 8 months. I am still deep into suicidal depression trying to treat it with therapy and antidepressants under medical guidance.

I reached out to the instructors crying for help or to get a refund, but my emails went unanswered, except for a generic Facebook message telling me to write an email which I did as mentioned, many times. No reply
They also kicked me out of their Facebook group and deleted my comments immediately.
