In 1978, my father began this business, under the title JVC Auto Parts. I have a brother, and when we were teenagers, we worked at places other than our family business. Our family was raised in an Auto Parts store. As teens, my brother and I worked other jobs, but we grew up working in the Auto Parts store, and would soon join it on a full-time basis. We expanded to Hackensack in New Jersey. We moved from our Manhattan office, and the transition was difficult. Our neighborhood is now much more appreciated, and we are grateful for the positive change. We are always looking for ways to improve and grow our locations.
