ABOUT   Services Excellence Summary

Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts Fiorello H.LaGuardia, Mayor of New York City, founded the High School of Music & Art in 1936. He dreamed of creating a place where the city’s most talented public school students could enrich their artistic or musical talents and complete an educational program. In 1984, Music & Art and Performing Arts opened their school year at Lincoln Center, and also the day on which The Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts first opened its doors. Our two heritage schools inspire us. There are nine specialized New York City high schools. LaGuardia Arts is the only one dedicated entirely to the arts. The high school was also the first to receive public funding and offer free arts education. This model was adopted by other U.S. cities and communities globally. The school has gained a reputation over the years. School alumni are known for being creative thinkers and collaborators, culturally-engaged innovators, and open-minded citizens. They also excel in almost every field imaginable, from arts and sciences to public service.

SUMMARY   Reviews Summary

Aniston, Minaj, and Chalamet attended LaGuardia. The institution is an excellent place for performing arts. One scholar who wasn't satisfied with his math lessons. He did well till COVID-19 hit, and he managed to study alone. His math teacher wasn't the best. He never got better grades or even improve in understanding the subject under a rough teacher, and some managed to transfer away from her class. In conclusion, the student's experiences are mixed.
