This technology helped brokers create a market and allowed carriers to process orders. Lepke Auto Transport started shipping cars to individuals and brokering overflow car orders through the company's established network of owners. New Management In 2010, Tobias Lepke fully took over Lepke Auto Transport. Lepke Auto Transport had to grow its presence internationally and outside of the Midwest to claim 100% ownership. Jim Lepke had been running and managing car transport for 31 years. He decided to retire from car shipping. Lepke Auto Transport decided to only work with owners, not drivers, so that Lepke equipment would be managed efficiently.
