Kiva Motnyk establishes Thompson Street Studio in 2014. We produce handmade artifacts that integrate art and design and are committed to creating work that endures and is genuine. Each item is designed in conventional quilting and weaving processes. Each collection draws on antique fabrics and seasonal organic dyes to develop a dialog between historical and contemporary aesthetics. Workshops and engaging exhibition encounters are available to the community. Our artists and artisans create each collection today. We share a commitment to preserving and celebrating our textile history. Thompson Street Studio's ready-made production designs are available in selected stores globally and online.
