They had recently left Wall Street to pursue their passion for pets. The business began as a small but successful dog-walking operation on the Upper East Side. By then, it employed ten people. In 2011, Throw Me A Bone had grown to include cat and dog pet-sitting. They also offered in-home dog-walking, grooming, and training in Manhattan. In 2017, the company opened Midtown West's only pet-care facility with complete services. There is a playroom, pet spa, and dog run. We now have 7 locations and employ 35 Pet Care Specialists.
