DREAM Barbershop Customer Feedback Overview: 1. First time at Dream Barbershop and honestly...experience. The vibe is on point, the barbers are patient, skilled, and really take their time to get you right. They also give solid suggestions and have a great selection of products. Lazy was my barber — top-tier service. Super professional, easy to talk to, and just overall cool. You can tell he knows exactly what he’s doing. Definitely found my new go-to spot 2. Fatima gave me a wonderful coloring and haircut! I'm ready for spring and I couldn't be happier! I've been going to Fatima for a long time and am always delighted with her work! Fatima is the best hairstylist in Queens!!! I highly recommend Fatima, an experienced and super professional! 4. no greeting no nothing and he pushed my corners back. don’t go here. 5. Elite service, got exactly what I wanted from my man Tim. The place is amazing and very detailed oriented. Would 100% recommend 6. John is best ! 7. Excellent barbershop! I have been coming here for 5 years. Lived in The Bronx and then moved to NJ and I still come here since I work in Queens. Always great cuts and fades, great barbers on every chair. I had 3 different barbers there that each cut my hair through different times. First one was the owner ben, Second Was Mark and the third guy was the first one at the chair I never knew his name but he cut my hair yesterday. I know the owner and he does a fantastic haircut but in this review I want to give a shoutout to Assem, Mark and Sean they always take care of me and are most familiar with how I like my hair styled. They also take care of the rest of my family when I bring them in! 12. Dream Barbershop is one of the best! It’s local and easily accessible. Also it opens up early in the morning in case you want to cut your hair early in the morning. Which is extremely convenient! I went to cut my hair this morning and (I’m not sure if I’m pronouncing or spelling her name correctly), but Asheem was able to cut my hair. I went home to shave afterwards and accidentally messed up my hair. Asheem was able to fix it to make it look like the mistake never happened! Ben, the owner is also extremely friendly. Highly recommend this barbershop!!! Especially if you live in the Elmhurst area! 10/10! 14. Real professionals here. Walked out looking like a new man — highly recommend! 15. It was my first time coming in here. The environment seems very welcoming and friendly. Barbershop is kept at a neat condition. I had my haircut wit Carlos. I believe he is new and although he is respectable and friendly, he does not seem to be good when it comes to skin fades. I saw another review comment about him regarding a similar issue. The cut as a whole came out decent but as I mentioned its the skin fade that needs work. That part unfortunately I’m not really pleased with. But i’m hoping to give this place a second chance its a great place from my first expierence. Ok I gotta be honest. I read the response from Dream Barbershop and I am not happy about this. Whoever makes the final call for this barbershop i’m just expressing my empathy that their decision to let go of Carlos is a bit too extreme. I never said I was dissapointed with the haircut, the skinfade just needed some work. Ther haircut as a whole I said was decent everything else came out good. I do not own this barbershop, I am just a customer who showed up one time and I said I will come back again. Carlos did not deserved to get fired, that is over the top in my opinion. I suggest to have him just get a bit more training, thats all that was needed really but to fire him??? Come on man thats not ok now I just feel bad for having the guy lose his job. He did not deserve that, this news is very dissapointing and the concious on my mind that I’m the cause of this hurts. Now i’m not too sure about coming back if its so easy to let employees go off of something so small. I clearly stated that as a whole the haircut was decent.
