Client Comments overall Experience with the Ettinger Law Firm: From accompanying my parents on their review appointment to update the estate plan to seeing how easy and thorough it was, the firm was an excellent choice for both our trust and will. Unlike many other law firms, where regular customers get delayed appointments, Ettinger had accommodating appointments where we did not wait long to get the appointment and we did not wait long on the days we were there in person. They were organized and knowledgeable and patiently answered all of our questions. I feel like the paperwork package they compiled and provided for us to keep was thorough and organized well. They also corrected and updated the previous document to match the information we gave them. I learned quite a bit and feel comfortable and confident that my kids and wife will be left in the best possible position with regard to trust, POA's, Proxy's and will. I would highly recommend them.  From the prospective client: What I expected from the Ettinger Law Firm was a fiduciary relationship marked by professionalism, attentiveness, and respect, especially from a firm claiming to specialize in elder care and estate planning. Ironically, that was not our experience. In my opinion, this firm treated my family and me abrasively, dismissively, and with little respect to our needs during a very difficult time. My family met with the firm for a consultative meeting. Navigating the first-time process of Medicaid was a confusing and overwhelming experience. Based on our initial meeting, I sincerely hoped for some guidance in the right direction. My family and I found Micheal Ettinger to be highly informative and never condescending. It was honestly a breath of fresh air to encounter someone so candidly frank. His clear guidance and remediation of some advice we had been given from another source has far surpassed my expectations. In retrospect, the guidance provided has been valuable. Just moved to NY: Ettinger Law Firm is on top of what they do, and have great attorneys who will help you to the best of their knowledge. I highly recommend Lorraine Sabalja, as she helped me create the proper trust for myself, and was so quick to respond and offer upmost help! Too Long: Takes forever, everything is very vague when questioned. Delay, delay, delay.....typical law firm.. UPDATE: Thank you for your response. This is in regard to the Chaliz estate. Two years, a firm can't find a death certificate and some personal info to settle the estate? Was told months ago we should have at least a final settlement number. Feeling very strung along. Our house is foreclosing, and because you can't find that info, we are in jeopardy of losing our home. Please just give us a comprehensive real time line, and why a death certificate and social # is holding this entire process up. Lease. We need (not just wannt) this matter closed.
