Clifton Cultural Arts Center began in 2002 as an old, iconic neighborhood landmark and a Clifton School, a community educational facility for a century, on the verge of going vacant. However, some visionary eyes saw a golden opportunity to turn it into a vital cultural arts center. A diverse pool of Cincinnati and Uptown residents, community leaders, volunteers, advocates, and neighbors, all coming together to bring this crazy dream to life. Clifton Cultural Arts Center is a non-profit organization whose objective is to advocate for the crucial relationship of experiential participation in cultural arts with thriving, happy children, adults, and communities. CCAC supports education, quality of urban life, and sustainability in the local arts community. CCAC serves residents in Uptown and across Cincinnati, where 30% of households live below the poverty line. Furthermore, CCAC serves all ages and socioeconomic backgrounds, allowing the youths to explore and the community to prosper.
