This direct relationship means that farmers receive the best price for their high-quality crops. We have cultivated friendships and industry partners. Our farmers are always there for us, and we honor their hard work by meeting their price. “There are so many women in coffee,” says Angele Ciza, “and they want to help their communities by providing them with economic and education opportunities. If you want Burundi to be developed, you need to empower women.” Our Roasting Haus in Over-the-Rhine roasts our coffees by hand in small batches. Roasting slowly, thoroughly, and without any stress or time constraints honors the hard work of the farmers and brings out their distinct flavors and flavors.
