Her name is Akilah, a Jamaican nurse raised in Florida. She's a nurse who loves helping and empowering people to look and feel their best. Her passion for aesthetics and the beauty industry led her to start The Better You MedSpa. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Miami, and a Master of Family Nurse Practitioner from Chamberlain University. Akilah has worked in the medical industry for six years, including as an urgent care nurse and during the Pandemic.
