I had dealings with them in the past. I need them again so I called a week ago, and the wait on hold was long so I requested a callback. I am still waiting for that said callback. The following day, I filled out the form online to request their assistance and got an automatic email saying that I would be contacted. I am still waiting for that said call. It is in times of need that these places come through, but in my case, this era doesn't help. 4. I had dealings with them in the past. You guys are very horrible Beyond measures how you guys can deny somebody who makes 18 an hour when lawyers alone itself you need 2500 alone just to get a lawyer and $275 an hour for their services you guys are sad and pathetic in so many levels that there are people out there who really needs to help y'all should be really ashamed of yourselves that y'all are a non-profit organization going after families with low incomes but willing to deny a person who makes a certain amount of hours such as 18 an hour each and every one of you guys from the top to the bottom Auto reevaluate yourself because legal aid supposed to provide not deny 8. They only assist when someone has been sued for bankruptcy. The poor are marginalized even by the so-called legal aid. You file for bankruptcy to avoid such suits, but they want you to dismiss the case and experience a series of them in a credit report. Doing so is like fraud, making it hard for you to file a bankruptcy. The whole thing is a total waste of time. 12. They only assist when someone has been sued for bankruptcy. I was in desperate need of their services. However, I did not qualify since my case was not as severe as it sounds. Legal aid serves many counties in n.e. Cleveland. It is overwhelmed. Everyone is advised to seek help here when in need and has a lower-income threshold. However, my case was not severe so I was denied help. It does not matter you have no one to fight for you against a cruel boss or a dying child that needs a simple settlement. The situation is dire, and they are resting at home. 15.
