About this business

Michelle Brandt is a gallery owner, juror, and participant in various arts organizations. Since 2017, she has chaired the board of the Short North Alliance and the public arts board of the Short North Art District. She graduated from The Ohio State University, Tablet Magazine’s “Second best art school in the country” (Brandt-Roberts Galleries, n.d.). She has juried at the Biannual Art Fair at Columbus College of Art and Springfield Museum of Art's Juried Members Exhibition. She curated an exhibit of 50 portraits by veterans from 50 different states for the National Veterans Memorial and Museum. Brandt-Roberts Galleries has a broad range of exhibitions featuring both well-known and new artists as well as historical works. Whether artists are Ohio-based or nationally exhibiting, we highlight those who are creating high-quality, compelling artwork. We also represent the estates of several significant artists who worked in the middle-twentieth century, focusing on classic modernism. Brandt-Roberts Galleries attracts clients at all levels, from first-time collectors to experienced interior decorators and corporate clients.

Reviews Summary

1. Visitors to an artist exhibition left positive reviews for a Columbus gallery, commending the brand-new art and well-informed staff. A few people plan on returning to the museum because they seek more beautiful art and to see emerging artists’ new techniques. Another review described how diverse and energetic the gallery and its different exhibitions can be. The gallery has a special post-war and contemporary art collection where established and emerging artists present their works. Different collections highlight many of the most important mid-century American painters, such as Rothko and Mullican. The extensive collection has many possibilities to view and buy artwork at all price ranges. Despite the diverse collection, the gallery has a calm elegance and is an excellent place to relax and enjoy art. In addition, the gallery's director, Michelle, is a great resource and a skilled art consultant. Michelle and her expertise were mentioned in glowing terms by visitors. The gallery also has a local focus, presenting a broad range of Columbus artists in a friendly atmosphere. Visitors’ experiences suggest the gallery is a great spot for art lovers to buy or view art.
