Established in 1959, Dayton Barber College has been offering quality barber education for over 50 years. We are one of the very few barber schools in Ohio with accreditation. Our school takes pride in ensuring that students are prepared for a lifetime career in one of the most established professions on the planet.
Tom Barber Inc. also bought the college in 2011 and transferred it to Miamisburg, Ohio. Dayton Barber College is based on the fundamental idea of grooming students to become barbers. We are committed to offering the highest level of professionalism, skills, and knowledge of the newest trends to our students. Dayton Barber College is committed to excellence in barbering. We boast of experienced instructors and a hands-on learning experience. Our comprehensive curriculum covers all the current trends, enabling students to become fully trained. Our facilities are divided into three departments—each dedicated to one phase of student training—and the practical lab in addition to the student clinic/shop, where they can interact with clients. The clinic/shop has 36 workstations for barber chairs. Four additional stations in the practical lab can also be used for one-to-one student training. The classroom is well-equipped, providing everything required to offer full instruction in theory.
