About this business
Fresh A.I.R. Gallery was founded in 1999 and celebrates its 25-year anniversary in 2004. Overcoming obstacles - disabilities, unemployment, and more - has allowed Southeast Healthcare Fresh A.I.R. to provide a forum for at least 310 artists, 95 group and solo exhibitions challenging the conventional wisdom of the general public. Empathy developed, and the artists' ability shone through, helping reduce stigma through the exhibits. The exhibits have helped the artist recover. They have gained confidence in themselves, and the exhibits make them a part of their community. The gallery is continually expanding and forming partnerships with several central Ohio organizations, including: Ohio Art League and CCAD, VSA Ohio and the Columbus Cultural Art Centers, Columbus Museum of Art and Ohio Prison Arts Connection, and Wexner Center for the Arts. The Fresh A.I.R. was held in 2019.
Fresh A.I.R. Gallery also celebrated its 15th year of the Columbus Museum of Art. This event was to honor our artists for their success and contributions to art.
