Our boutique company has years of experience creating crisis communications programs and proactive communication strategies to strengthen brands. Hinson and Hinson PR are involved with non-profit organizations. Hinson serves on The James Cancer Hospital Foundation Board from The Ohio State University Foundation Board and was recently named trustee at Otterbein University. Hinson served on the Experience Columbus board, a travel and tourism promotion organization, and the Columbus Foundation board, which helps build stronger communities. Hinson co-founded Girls with Gears, a grassroots organization that has raised more than $1 million to support cancer research at The James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute at The Ohio State University. Hinson won the Kent Clapp Medical Mutual CEO Leadership Award in Community Service and was also named a YWCA Woman of Achievement. Additionally, she received the United Way of Central Ohio Bob Crane Sr Young Philanthropist Award. Previous boards have included The Columbus Foundation and Columbus School for Girls. Hinson resides in New Albany with her husband, Alan Hinson, who is a residential real estate agent.
