Clear aligners are fabricated from a clear polyurethane and are virtually invisible. The main benefit is that you can remove your aligners for meals and other social engagements. You are also able to remove clear aligners to brush your teeth and floss. This can be dangerous because if you are not disciplined, you will forget to put them back on. The clear aligner system has other advantages that the other systems do not offer. The clear ceramic system is based on the original brackets and wires aesthetic treatment but hides it. The brackets are transparent, blending in with the original tooth color. This system is extremely popular with adults, including celebrities, because it is nearly invisible. There are several ceramic braces types, and technology is developing. The visual aspect of ceramic braces is appealing. They are, however, less durable than metal brackets. Although the brackets themselves do not stain, the elastic ties that hold the brackets to the wire can. Ceramic is also more costly than metal, but the aesthetics of the latter often rule the day.
