Northwestern Mutual is the marketing name for The Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company and its subsidiaries. Life and disability insurance, annuities, and long-term care insurance are issued by the Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company (NM). The subsidiary Northwestern Long Term Care Insurance Company (NLTC) issues long-term care insurance. Northwestern Mutual Investment Services, LLC (NMIS), a subsidiary of NM, is a broker-dealer and registered investment adviser (RIA) that are members of FINRA and SIPC and offer brokerage and investment advisory services. The trust and investment advisory services of Northwestern Mutual Wealth Management Company, Milwaukee, WI (NMWMC), a subsidiary of NM, are managed by its fiduciaries. Only properly licensed financial professionals and advisors can offer all of these products and services. Some products and services are not available in all states. Representatives do not offer investment advisory services, nor do they represent all Northwestern Mutual representatives. Only NMWMC members who have the title "Advisor" can provide investment advisory services, or they must disclose that they are an advisor.
