Peppertree established its operations in 2004 and currently invests from its ninth private equity fund and an evergreen loan fund. The firm manages more than $4.0B in portfolio companies and investments and has invested in over 135 communications infrastructure organizations in twelve jurisdictions. Most of our capital is sourced from institutional investors, including university endowments and insurance companies. Peppertree also sponsors tower, DAS, and communication rooftop developers, fiber network operators, spectrum auction participants, and spectrum auction participants. We also invest in real estate connected to our focus areas and non-telecom infrastructure projects. Our main activity entails growth equity investments, with the entire risk proceeding from the capital structure. However, we will consider all transactions and investments, no matter how they are structured within the capital stack. Peppertree is hands-on and patient, we have a personal and determined approach, and our most significant investment is approximately one billion dollars, although we have committed to businesses that are growing and have received several hundred million dollars.
