Urban Arts Space

Urban Arts Space was founded in 2008 as a permanent exhibition space. It is centrally located in downtown Ohio State facilities housed in the heart of the Lazarus Building. Urban Arts Space provides its services for free, hosting exhibitions and events that form an integral part of the vibrant culture and arts scene in Columbus. The Columbus Metropolitan area boasts numerous museums, galleries, and arts organizations, making free artwork and event offerings a critical component of the community. Urban Arts Space offers a wide range of exhibitions that cater to all demographics from across Ohio State University. It also manages the direction of the Hopkins Hall Gallery on Ohio State's main campus. UAS Online also aims at offering a virtual version of its established exhibitions that allow for deeper learning and experimentation with art creation, making, viewing, understanding, and interpretation.
