Lincoln Storage and Moving, Inc. was established in 1916 by Arthur B. Compton Sr., founder of The Lincoln Storage Company. The original household goods storage facility was at 315 E. First Street, Dayton, Ohio. Arthur B. Compton Jr. sold the business to Thomas M. Bates, Sr., who sold it to Jeffrey L. Peace in January 1994. Our company was among Allied Van Lines' 28 first charter agents in the 1930s. It was America's only interstate moving van company. We are still part of the worldwide Allied Network. We began to arrange moves worldwide from the 1970s. For more than 40 years, we have branched out and changed service lines to upgrade with the world's marketplace. We have gotten numerous industry awards for being an international mover. We have handled thousands of relocations internationally over the last four decades. The Troops to Trucks Act deregulated trucking in the early 1980s. Lincoln Storage aggressively responded to the deregulation by remaining a top Allied Agent and expanding its services. In 1983, the Commercial Moving Division was established. We grew because of our focus on corporate and industrial storage, which created a Product Warehousing and Distribution Division still very busy.

The moving team was efficient and very friendly. The hourly cost was very reasonable. Couldn't recommend Lincoln Moving any more highly with an extra pay for shipping. I have never had such an easy, fantastic experience moving before. Definitely recommending to all my friends.
