Rick Hyde was the man. I had a reckless operation, and he kept me out of jail, which was my main focus. He was by my side throughout my five court appearances, giving me a fighting chance. I highly recommend him for all your court needs. He's an excellent lawyer, and he will get the job done as long as you assist him and be honest. I think I received the best possible result in my case, and I thank Rick Hyde for it. Before hiring Rick Hyde, I had a public defender, who seemed fixated on jail time. Every time I spoke with Rick, he assured me that we won’t be taking a plea that involves jail. Strongly recommended this guy, love him and his work. There's a reason why he's been in the industry for so long. Mr. Hyde was very effective at first, but then I started to realize that it was all a sham. Not only did he fall asleep at our first meeting, he also acted as though he could get anything. This guy charged me 4 to 5k for a domestic violence case that should have been easily dismissed. He also charged me for a trial that never happened and still uses the excuse that the entire amount was spent preparing for the trial, which took a year. So I paid 2k for a retainer and another 2k for the trial. The first 2k was for the preparation for the trial, and the other 2k was the trial. So, this guy charged me for a trial that never happened and then called his office several times asking for an itemized bill, but I never got one. When I talked to him, he was so rude and didn't even remember the case. He just brushed me off. I hired Tad Brittingham from Cincinnati for half the price, and it was over. In my opinion, this guy is a crook, but it makes sense since he used to be a rough prosecutor.
