Don Roberts Law Offices

Don Roberts was the best lawyer and the best person. This review is the same as the first. I have nothing but gratitude. Don has often mentored me on litigation issues. Great guy! Great lawyer. Great husband. And great father. This review is the same as the third. Don Roberts helped me tremendously. It was amazing to watch him represent me, the way he swiftly shut down the frivolous case against me was just incredible. I highly recommend Don Roberts. This review is the same as the fifth. Don Roberts and his team came recommended in one my darkest hours, from a few Social Service groups in Central Ohio, as he is known to volunteer his services helping families with disabilities. (important to me) Knew nothing about the legal process, and had lost hope through a divorce in 2016. Didn't know what pro bono was, or how FREE legal advice consultations worked, or even where the courthouse was. But from the first call, there was honesty, feedback, and understanding involved. The legal process could be all drawn out like a TV- Soap Opera, or swift and clean as Don said often, focus on what is right, write out your plan and story, and stand confident, and the truth will be revealed. 8 years later he still is right, and I am still learning to have hope in people and our justice system. Thank You Don for your guidance, leadership, and patience. We need more people like you helping others out there. ALL my best. After our initial meeting we could tell he means business. He is know as a shark and for good reason, HE GETS RESULTS! Mr. Roberts was the opposing attorney in my case, so take my review with a grain of salt. In short, I would say that if you don't have children, and if you hate your ex and you want to someone to bash them and be rude and disrespectful toward them, then I feel sorry for you, but Mr. Roberts may be your man. However, if you do have children, then I beg you to go elsewhere, no matter how much you hate your ex. One more thing: beyond all his bluster, Mr. Roberts does not have much knowledge of divorce law. He lost at every stage of our case, even when I was representing myself pro se. This is the only reason I gave him two stars instead of one. I hired him in earlier this year for my divorce. I informed Mr. Roberts my husband and I reconciled and I needed him to drop the case, he lied to me and told me he did. The day before my first court date, we noticed NOTHING was filed yet, when I went to ask him about it, he said it was BEST to do it all in person at once in court...so my husband and I went to the courthouse ourselves and cancelled the divorce. It has been since JULY 2021, and I have not been given a bill, or my money back! He wont answer any of my calls, or texts. And I was glad that I retained him as lawyer. When I showed up in his office he took my case and work on it non stop. And did not rest until he completely filled all the papers work with success. In fact at the end my case was dismissed prior to my hearing date. This is a testimony Don's professionalism and good quality of work.
