Seems like a very well versed attorney straight to the point and knowledgeable about my case so far I would recommend. Easy to talk with, knows what he's talking about. Really helped with a legal matter. He is a very good attorney works for his clients and does the very best for you.Very nice secretary's, Lawyer Thompson, very knowledgeable ,very caring,I am so happy he's taking my case.Also very reasonable. We would choose no one else for any of our legal needs. Even though we no longer live in Mansfield. He has handled probate, wills, buying and selling of property, and contracts. A multitude of legal matters. Would highly recommend his services. He did great job after my father in law passed away and even though I live in Columbus I would drive the distance for any legal paperwork from Richard. Seems very shady. Very condescending from our first meeting to our last phone conversation. Continually made promises and took an inordinate amount of time to get things done, blaming the courts. When we checked with the court, the initial filing had not even been done yet. Things like this occurred many times throughout our experience with him. Mr.Thompson has been doing this for a lot of years and I’m sure has seen some crazy things. He seems to forget there are some honest people left in the world. He also forgets there are (grieving) family members at the other end of his shenanigans. He needs to remember there are humans with feelings and a need for speedy resolution after their loved ones passing. I would not recommend this firm. We took measures to be sure the requests made in my mil’s will were honored because he seemed very shady. I’m sure my mil chose him because he is a smooth talker. Some reviews call it “efficient” and that he “knows his stuff”. We had a bad feeling about him and his staff from the first moment we met him.
