Customer Feedback Engel & Martin LLC Here is a summary of customer feedback: 1. Engle's communication is terrible, and he is very rude. He wouldn't share important information with the new lawyer and instead he told me to tell the new lawyer what to do when the lawyer could have done it himself. That was enough to make me want to hang up the phone on him. He talked over me and he was very rude and raised his voice at me. I am a lady first of all we don't talk to women like that. I called the courts and told them that we never were told about this. They were confused as well because the courts thought it would be shared between the two lawyers. It was not. Don't do it. Maybe because my son is African American we were treated this way. I don't know but I sure don't want him representing my son. He NEVER even called us back anyway. His communication is terrible, and he is very rude. My son was assigned 2 court appointed lawyers/public defenders. The 1st lawyer Ms. Andrea was very sweet, honest, and always called us back because my son gave us permission to be informed about his case. We were sadly informed by Ms. Andrea that my son would be assigned a new attorney and he was terrible. Joshua Engle was assigned to my son. I called Mr. Engle SEVERAL times and he never ever returned my call for almost 5 months. In the meantime I started looking for another attorney because I had a feeling this man really could care less about my son. He showed it by never calling us back and saying things to my son but he doesn't think that I know what he was telling my son but I know everything. Today I was told to call him, of course I left a message but this time he called me back but he was very rude, raised his voice, he was talking over me trying to tell me what to tell my son's new lawyer to file instead of just telling the lawyer himself. I thought that was very unprofessional, I am not a lawyer, I thought lawyers communicate with each other and share information about the client amongst each other but not Engle. After he started raising his voice and talking over me I hung up. CLICK. I am a lady first of all and he was very disrespectful. 2. Engel & Martin, Very professional and they had a solid knowledge of my situation and helped to get the best possible resolution. I highly recommend! Great experience working with everyone at Engel & Martin. 3. Engel & Martin helped our family navigate a child custody case and did a fantastic job. Opposing counsel was extremely aggressive and we believed we were in a hopeless situation. Mary Martin and her team were able to turn what we thought was an unwinnable situation into a resounding victory for our family. They were always available, professional, friendly, and a firm I would ABSOLUTELY recommend them. I cannot thank them enough for all they have done for our family
